As always, if you’d like to request future plugin updates and/or changes, you can submit a feature request. We review these regularly and the ones with the most votes, go to the top of the list.

If you want to jump ahead, you can check out specific plugin updates by clicking one of the links below:

Updates to WooCommerce Attribute Swatches

We just released version 1.5.0 of WooCommerce Attribute Swatches, and with it comes a key update:

Added price suffix support

Previously, if you added text to the suffix field in your WooCommerce tax settings, this text wouldn’t appear on the product page. Now, however, we’ve made sure it will.

Compatibility updates

A number of our plugins this month have had some compatibility updates. These updates help our plugins work well alongside other plugins and themes. This month, they include:

WooCommerce Quickview and Show Single Variations

This month both WooCommerce Quickview and WooCommerce Show Single Variations have been updated to work well with Divi BodyCommerce. This means you can use both plugins with the WooCommerce customization plugin.

You can see all additional updates for these two plugins in their changelogs:

Wishlists for WooCommerce

Wishlists for WooCommerce has also had an update this month, this time a compatibility update to help it work alongside the plugin WooCommerce Product Table.

You can see additional bug fixes and changes in the Wishlists for WooCommerce changelog.

WooCommerce Product Configurator

This month WooCommerce Product Configurator has had two compatibility updates. These updates allow Product Configurator to work well with Yith Wishlist and our very own WooCommerce QuickTray.

You can see additional bug fixes and changes in the WooCommerce Product Configurator changelog.

New at Iconic HQ

Now for the exciting team news!

We’ve recently added a brand new member to our team. So we thought we’d introduce them to you with a few questions.

Introducing the newest member of the Iconic team, Ramon Ahnert

Vila Velha (Brazil)
Vila Velha (Brazil)

Ramon lives with his wife in Vila Velha (Brazil). His interest in computers started young when he wanted to build his own website. So, at the age of 14, he taught himself HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and published his first website. It was a challenge without the resources we have now (YouTube didn’t exist yet!).

Since then, Ramon’s interest in computers increased and he moved on to earn a master’s degree in Computer Science. Ramon loves to contribute to open source projects like WordPress and learn new ways and approaches to solving problems.

When not working, Ramon can be found playing guitar, video games, listing to music, or spending time with his wife.

Hey Ramon, let’s lighten the mood – what’s one unusual thing about you?

I can skateboard. I’m a little rusty but I can at least ollie.

For the non-developers out there, how would you describe your role?

I like to say that I work creating things using the computer. However, these things can’t be touched or seen at the same time it’s real and affects the way we live and how we work. It’s like magic but (usually) less dangerously.

As the newest member of our team, what are you looking forward to most?

I’m looking forward to contributing to the team, fixing issues, creating new features, learning new things, improving our development process and tools we use to create and maintain our products.  Also helping our clients to achieve their goals and have a great experience using our plugins. Last but not least, keeping fun in coding.

Go on, give us your best dad joke…

“I have always wished for my computer to be as easy to use as my telephone. My wish has come true because I can no longer figure out how to use my telephone”

That’s it for this month’s news from Iconic. If you have any questions about the updates, please leave us a comment. Oh, and say hi to Ramon – I’m sure he’d love to hear from you!
