How To Charge Additional Fees For Delivery Dates/days
When creating your delivery schedule with WooCommerce Delivery Slots, you might find the need to add additional fees to specific days of the week. Either that or charge an additional fee for delivery on a specific date (I.e. Valentine’s day).
WooCommerce Delivery Slots allows you to do both of these within the plugin settings. We’ll outline each below.
How to add delivery fees for specific days of the week
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to WooCommerce > Delivery Slots.
- Once there, click the Date Settings tab and scroll down to the Fees section.
- Here you’ll see a table with each day of the week, next to each day is a blank text area.
- Type whatever fee you’d like to add in each area and once happy, click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
- Now whenever someone selects one of these delivery days, an extra fee will be applied at the checkout.
