Shipping method specific enable or disable of time slots

Disable just the time slots for a selectable shipping method (eg. local delivery shipping method) but keep delivery date functionality active for it. In tandem with that, keep time slots and delivery dates active for the collection / local pickup method. It would be great if there were “custom delivery groups” where, by shipping method or category, one could create granular delivery date and time slot configurations.
