When using the flux multi step checkout, currently the only details that are remembered are the details captured by the address lookup function. If a user navigates away from the checkout, the data sourced from the google lookup is retained however much of the other data isnt. This is causing customers to miss re-entering non mandatory information, such as changing the delivery date to a future date they previously selected or entering in a mandatory phone number field. I understand that this is core Woocommerce functionality, however with the addition of multi-steps, users now expect that this data is retained for when they return to assist with a trouble free checkout process. Information that would need to be stored are the billing user details requested in the first step, other information requested, such a delivery dates, shipping user details and shipping method selection.
