Add the option to order single variations on the catalog page

I would like to choose the order of my products on the catalog page. But when i change the menu order to display the product on top of the page, all the variation are on top. But i only want 1 specific variation to be on top op the page.

It is much needed feature. There is no point in showing all variations of one product on top. There should be option to set menu order of selected single variations.

All my products are mixed up and product archive looks messy. Would indeed be great with the option to either decide product order manually or to let the single variations be decided by the mother product.

We would love this as well! This particular request highlights a challenge for us because many of our variations are languages (English/Spanish) and we’d love to sort/group (via Menu order) each of the "Spanish" product variations together along with the English ones at the top/bottom, etc. It becomes a bit of an indistinguishable stream without this ability. Maybe an integration with the popular Post Types Order plugin (their Advanced Post Type Order has an API even) could provide a bridge to getting this done without having to build it into the plugin. However you all approach (if it makes it to the drawing board), thanks for considering!

I’m part of the Iconic development team.
Currently, all variations are sorted under the parent product. However, it makes sense that variation could be sorted independently of the parent product. We’ll do some investigation to see how to approach implementing this feature. Thanks

Hello Ramon and IconicWP team! Thanks, again, for considering our ideas as able! I am just following up on this to see if there was/is a chance it would make it in. I understand if not but am thankful if so. We could still use it for our use case with a multi-lingual site that uses both English & Spanish but has no way to group the items. Happy to provide feedback or a testing environment if that would help. Thanks, again, for considering/discussing!
