Add Swatches support for Simple Products

Currently images can be displayed only for variation products. Would like to have the same feature for Simple Products (in shop filter, on catalog, on product page)

It would be awesome if we could use Swatches from the WooCommerce Attributes Swatches plugin on simple products as well. I have a client who has a lot of customization for his products and doing variations would lead to something like over 2 million variations for a single product.

Yes, yes, yes! Please include the ability to have swatches on simple products.

It would be really useful to have swatches for simple products. I have some products that vary by Attribute but the product image is only valid for one simple product (previously variation). It I could add swatches for the finish or glass choices that would be very helpful.
