Completed Category: Delivery Slots thimbleinkdesigns shared this idea Hi Iconicwp, when will this happen? It’s essential for our company because we work with own carriers and with external carriers (DPD). With our own carriers we have 1 day delivery and DPD have 2 days delivery in Belgium and 3 days in the Netherlands.. We will appreciate it a lot when this will be fixed. Reply Hey, unfortunately, it’s not up to us. The app doesn’t allow for any custom data at all to be displayed, but we expressed our interest with the app developers. Hopefully one day we’ll be able to add it! Reply Woocommerce App now support Custom Fields!!!! I got this reply from Woocommerce support team. "The WooCommerce app doesn’t have support for that extension/plugin specifically, but if the delivery date and time data is saved on the order within a custom field, you should have the option to view it from the order details within the WooCommerce app. If you’re not seeing that option then the extension is likely saving it in some other way. In that case, I would recommend reaching out to the developer directly to let them know that you’d like to see this data within the WooCommerce app and suggest that they save it as a custom field" Reply Maybe it’s time yo include the delivery slots as custom fields… Reply Hey Jose, we already save that data as custom fields! Reply Hello James, are you sure? The information is not on the custom fields on woocommerce app. Can you please check and confirm? Reply Hi everyone, Iconic, I had the same problem maybe you can add this details to the order notes? For everyone who need this until it is not supported in the plugin, I use this code which make the details visible in the order notes using this code: add_action( ‘woocommerce_checkout_order_processed’, ‘add_custom_delivery_order_note’ ); function add_custom_delivery_order_note( $order_id ) { // Get order id $order = wc_get_order($order_id); // Get shipping details $shipping_date = $order->get_meta('_jckwds_date'); $shipping_time_slot = $order->get_meta('_jckwds_timeslot'); // Create order note text $note = "Date: " . $shipping_date . ", Time: " . $shipping_time_slot; // Add the note to the order $order->add_order_note( $note ); } Simply add this in the functions.php of your theme and this should work. After placing a test order you can see in the Woocommerce app the delivery details in the notes. Please let me know if you need any help! Jan Reply ← All Requests Don't have an account?
