Different angles
We sell handbags. We have several options: Color, with zipper or without, with logo on the front or without, with a storage compartment on the back or without. We want to show both the front and the back of the product with all the different options. So by default the front is shown, but someone…
Let the customer input their own text
Let the customer input their own text which can show on a custom image. Simple field for capturing text. Ability to limit content by type, alpha, numeric etc. and also min / max characters. I’m currently achieving this with Gravity Forms, but it sits outside of the configuration options, and has no conditional control.
Collapsible Product Configurator Tables
Make product configurator tables collapsible. This is especially helpful if you have different conditions per attribute. Collapse all tables by default and allow to open them all at once by clicking a text button in the main attribute tab. Maybe use the same structure as under variations. I have attached a screenshot to show the…
Allow options to be conditional based on the selection of other fields
At the moment, there is no way of hiding options that do not apply to a users requirements. The only way around it is to offer a choice of ‘none’, but users are still struggling to understand this. This leads to confusion, and options being accidentally chosen, and this leads to shop owners having to…
Make the Product Configurator compatible with WebP image files
WebP supports transparency while having smaller file size than PNG.
Import Product Configurator Image Layers using WP All Import Pro
Add an option (or add compatibility) to import product configurator image layers using WP All Import Pro.
Make the background image optional
Your plugin forces me to create a transparent background image per product of the size of the other layers. I can live with this nuisance, but it's counter-productive. Ideally, the background image should be optional.
OR logic
It is possible to do this with four configurator layers (two duplicate sets) but it could be done with 2 if OR logic was supported. “IF ‘Orientation=1’ AND ‘Side=Front’ OR ‘Orientation=2’ AND Side=back” on one layer and “IF ‘Orientation=2’ AND ‘Side=Front’ OR ‘Orientation=1′ AND Side=back’
Fix compatibility issue with Product Bundles by Woocommerce
Currently, the Product Bundles plugin by WooCommerce doesn't modify the configurable layers of a variable product that is in a product bundle. In the Admin's Orders pages and Invoices, the "Configurator" product displays its configured state correctly. It's only on the Bundle Product page itself that the variable product doesn't change it's layers while a…
